Captain Bob Tatarsky’s connection to the water began in childhood, evolving from a lifelong passion into a career dedicated to sharing the fishery of Lake Ontario with others. Since arriving in the region in 1980, he has spent decades navigating the local lakes, developing a deep, intuitive understanding of the specific patterns and behaviors of the species that call these waters home. His transition into professional guiding was a natural extension of this dedication, allowing him to turn his extensive personal scouting and time on the lake into a resource for visiting anglers. Throughout his years on the water, Bob has encountered the diverse and often surprising challenges that make freshwater fishing so compelling.
